Real Estate Marketing

Marketing a home requires a multi-faceted plan of both traditional and trending approaches.

Using the Multiple Listing Service to Market a Home

Our Multiple Listing Service (MLS) is a constantly updated database of properties that are currently on the market in our area.  A listing for the MLS is submitted by the seller’s real estate broker and includes all the details on a home.  These details include photos, square footage, taxes, room sizes and other amenities of the home and the area.  The MLS is the first place a real estate broker will go to for the most current information on available homes for their client and to research prior sales data. Public real estate sites such as Zillow and Realtor will get their initial data feed on homes for sale from the MLS. The MLS is the most important source of property information making it the most valuable medium for selling a home.

Marketing a Home Online

Today, 96 percent of buyers will find your home either on the internet or from their real estate broker.  Effective digital marketing requires working across platforms to reach as many people as possible.  Whether those people are using a PC, tablet, or smart phone to search for homes interactively, or are receiving updates from a real estate website – we do everything possible to maximize the reach and quality of your internet presentation. This starts with comprehensive data about your home and is augmented with professional high-quality composite photography, drone photography, customized virtual tours, videos and floor plans.

Marketing a Home Using Social Media

The impact of social media in exposing a home is growing every year. Our reach is extended to our personal and business relationships through Facebook, our professional network through LinkedIn, and the to the public on YouTube.

Print Marketing for a Home

Not everything is online.  Our graphic designers create a customized brochure that is printed in high quality color.

For luxury and high-end homes, the impact of good placement in the right newspapers and magazines is powerful.  We get your home featured in major national and international publications as well as newspapers like the Chicago Tribune and Crain’s Chicago Business.

Marketing a Home Through Networking

Direct mail and email are used for strategically targeting our extensive database of clients, business leaders and qualified buyers.
