While visiting the Saguaro National Park in Arizona, we met a couple who had downsized from a 2,500sf home to live in a motorhome full-time. Their new 400sf home forced them really economize on what they kept and to live a simple lifestyle. Now that’s extreme. They spend several months a year at two RV communities in different parts of the county during the extremes of winter and summer, and road trip the rest of the time. They do expect to purchase a small home again when the motorhome lifestyle loses its luster.
